Remembrance Day - by Jackie Baker

On world war old people risked they're lives,
to free the children and people they're size.
Then at home, way far back,
their families worry to death.
and when some guys shot the bullets,
the poor man took one last breath.
now hen that day arrives,
we wear a poppy to thank the lives.
on world war two it was all the same,
but i hope less had died,
and now at night I thank god,
that I am still alive!

   Bedtimes - by Jackie Baker

I don't know why we have them,
I don't go to bed,
I don't go to bed until I'm fed.

They have to point,
I just watch t.v.,
or listen to a c.d.
do you like bed times?
I totally don't,
my mommy says go to bed,
and I won't!
